The Data Management Accountability Matrix is a construction pour identifier le partie prenante types across the data ecosystem and the high-level roles and the relationships between the partie prenante types.
Construction – a generic representation of a concept unencumbered by unique characteristics of an industry or organization. The construction is used by an organization to inform the design of a customized modèle for execution. The customization takes into account the size, complexity, geography, and culture of the organization.
Business – Technology
The data ecosystem within an organization or even in an individual business domaine is a complex network of processes and stakeholders – Business and Technology.
Partie prenante – an individual or groupe engaged in a data ecosystem that is vested in either the creation or consumption of the ecosystem data.
It is useful to categorize the stakeholders at a high level as business and technology functions, however, there are important subgroups in each of those categories.
The blue section of the diagram contains those business-oriented stakeholders focused on the Élément commercial. Conversely, the orange section is those Technology-oriented stakeholders focused on the Élément de données. The pivotal bridge between the two foci is the fonction d'architecture de données.
SME and Data Requirements
The first column of the diagram contains three types of business processus domaine stakeholders.
Entreprise Processus – every business processus domaine est un producteur de données.
Data Consumers – some business processus domains are also data consumers. They consume data from another business processus domaine as an input to their business processus. During the execution of their processus, the consumed data is used in the processus and may be transformed or used to derive new data.

All three types of business processus domains across the ecosystem impose What requirements on the business processus and data of the producteur de données. These requirements must integrate into the dataset captured in the producteur de données’s business processes.
Technology Management
The third column of the diagram contains two technology processus stakeholders.
Architecture technologique – responsible for how the requirements across the ecosystem are achieved by the technical environment structure and design.
Application Technology – responsible for how the design, build and run activities of the technical environment meets the ecosystem requirements.
Gestion des données
The center column of the diagram contains the drivers of the data management processus.
Business Data Management – the business-aligned fonction accountable for facilitation across the business stakeholders to define and govern the Élément commercial.
Technology Data Management – the technology-aligned fonction accountable for facilitation across the technology stakeholders to achieve the Élément commercial requirements through the technology environment.
Architecture des données – the bridge between the Élément commercial requirements and the Élément de données execution accountable to provide the framework to organize the data.
